Terms and Conditions
1. All customers must have booked in advance in order for your pet to stay with us. This can be done by telephone, email or in person
2. Pets can only be accepted into our establishment if they are fully inoculated (dogs and cats) and have the kennel cough vaccine (dogs) within the last 12 months and not less than two weeks prior to boarding. Certificates must be shown every time your pet boards with us.
3. A non-refundable deposit of £30.00 (or full payment if less) will be required to secure any booking and will be deducted from your final bill.
4. All Pets must be in full health in order to be able to stay with us. If staff think otherwise, then refusal of boarding can occur.
5. All dogs must enter on a lead and cats must enter in a carry case/box. If dogs enter our establishment without being attached to a lead, then it is the owners full responsibility for loss or injury to the dog or others.
6. All animals must be microchipped before they come in to stay with us, this is the law and your pet will not be insured with us if found to not have been chipped.
7. We require all customers to bring their pets own food while boarding with them to ensure we maintain their regular diet.
8. You may bring bedding for your pet but if not we will provide some for your pet. Harlow Kennels & Cattery Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damage/destroyed bedding.
9. If your pet is collected before 11:00am then that day will be free. A £6.00 surplus charge will be payable if your pet is collected after 11:00 am.
10. Following a missed departure date, owners must contact the kennels within 14 days regarding their pet. Failure to do so with result in legal action with the owner(s) of the pet(s) in question.
11. No animal shall be accepted into the Kennels or cattery without reachable contact details during their stay. If this contact is family or friend while you are away, then please make this contact aware of this responsibility.
12. Early returns and alterations to dates are acceptable but suitable notice must be given to avoid being charge fully for your original booking.
13. Animals showing signs of illness will be put into isolation or taken to the vets for check-up and treatment. Your registered veterinary surgery will be called first but in the event that they are unavailable, the veterinary surgery that is on call will be contacted.
14. It will be the responsibility of the animal’s owner to pay for any veterinary treatment unless otherwise agreed with Harlow Kennels & Cattery Ltd and should be settled directly with the veterinary surgery used.
15. All fees are payable on collection. We accept Cash or Card payments. We no longer accept Cheque’s as form of payment. Failure to provide correct means of payment will delay the collection of your pet.
Personal information will be treated as confidential by us and held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018 and will be used to deal with your enquiry.
