Kennel Services

What Your Dog Experiences With Us

Your dog(s) will have their own kennel for the full duration of their stay with us. Each kennel is insulated and heated along with additional heating for those cold winter months.

Each kennel is cleaned to a high standard at least twice a day with DEFRA approved products.

Our kennels range from singular kennels to large pens that can house up to 4 dogs from the same household. Each with enough space for your dog to stretch their legs, wag their tails and relax.

Exercise and Socialising

Dogs are exercise numerous times a day on site in our two secure grass paddocks. We also have covered exercise runs to ensure your dog is well exercised even in those cold, wet rainy days.

We are surrounded by the lovely Harrogate pine woods and the Birk crag where your dog will enjoy on lead walks during their stay. For those dogs with that extra energy, we offer a one-to-one dog walking service.

We like to socialise our boarders as much as possible with our other boarders. This allows plenty of play time and further stimulation for your dog during their stay.

Treats, toys and games are used to help stimulate all our boarders but especially those ones that find too much socialising a little too much for them.

Food & Nutrition

We encourage you to bring your own food for your dog. This helps keep your dog regular diet while staying with us and allows your dog to avoid any upset tummy incidents.

We have a vast amount of storage for dogs that are raw fed and for those dogs on an extra special diet. Please speak to members of staff further if you any special requests.

A wet or dry diet can be provided for your dog(s) but this does come at a cost of £1.00 per dog per day.

Bedding

We do provide all types of bedding and blankets for your dog(s) throughout their stay but if you wish to bring your own bedding, blankets and special napping boxes then please feel free too. It is always nice for your dog to have a space that smells of home while staying with us but this is left at your own risk.

Medication

Any medication (apart from medications involving needles) can be accurately administered but must be in its original packaging. We need consent from yourself to be able to administer this. Please discuss this with a member of stuff when dropping off your dog for their stay.

Bathing

We do offer a dog washing services. This can be done as a walk in service or be done in time for you to collect your dog from us on the day of departure. This comes at a cost of £10.00 per wash.
