What happens if my pet is ill during their stay.
They will be assess and where needed, taken to the vets for a diagnosis and given any treatment. Where possible, we will use your own registered vet surgery, if this is not possible, then our registered vets (Medivet – Shamrock on Knarseborough road) will be called to make an appointment. We will take your pet to the vets ourselves but if this is not possible, we will require your emergency contact to do so.
We will always try and contact you before this happens but in the case of an emergency, the welfare of your pet comes first, and we’ll take your pet to the vets.
A consent is required upon arrival to be able to do this.
